The Bridestones (natural rock feature)
Looks unfeasible but it’s definitely real. This is one of the Bridestones (from the Danish ‘Brink stones) in the Dalby Forest near Pickering, a result of natural weathering over thousands of years. There are two groups of rocks, the High and Low Bridestones and, due to their bizarre appearance and the amount of cairns and other archaeological features roundabout, the stones were clearly of some sacred significance.
